Syrian air force destroys ISIL position in Homs

HOMS, Nov. 22 (MNA) – Syrian Army Air Force has conducted a series of strikes against strongholds of ISIL terrorists in Hallabat area to the western side of Palmyra.

It also attacked ISIL strongholds in village of Al-Hafr and the two towns of Maheen and Hawareen, 80km to the south east of Homs city. A military source told SANA that the strikes destroyed positions of ISIL, killing all terrorists inside as well as destroying vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns. Still in another battle, army killed at least 20 terrorists in Aleppo southern countryside. An army unit clashed Saturday night with terrorists from the so called "Jaish al-Mujahedeen" terrorist group at the axis of Khan Touman town, 10km southwest of Aleppo city.

The so called "Jaish al-Mujahedeen" is a group of terrorists affiliated to Jabhat Al-Nusra terrorists group, reportedly supported by the Turkish regime of Erdogan. The clashes ended with the death and wounding of at least 20 terrorists and destroying different vehicles with all arms and ammunition inside. Another army unit destroyed, with directed rockets, a heavy vehicle for terrorists and a vehicle equipped with heavy machinegun in the vicinity of Abo Rael village in the southern countryside of Aleppo province. The Syrian Army Air Force destroys positions and fortresses for ISIL terrorists in Hemima, Akoula, Tal Ahmar and Kaskees in the Eastern countryside of Aleppo countryside.
